Projects, projects, projects

I have had a lot of projects this year. So far, I have been assigned 3 projects.

The first was our Chinese History project. We were asked to choose our own topic and hand it in on the 10th of December. My team chose the fall of the Tang Dynasty, they also chose me as team captain. It's nice to be in power, but power comes with responsibility. The last week of November and the first 2 weeks of December, we were making up for lost time (we knew of the project in Sep), and eventually we handed in the report on time.

The second is our Integrated Science (IS) project (AKA our F2 project). Our school recently applied for a new school campus and was granted the application. The school now wants F2 students to help them design it. The plans for the new campus have already been drawn up, albeit the school wants us to design a green campus, build a model, present it, then submit a report. The plans for my school campus have been drawn up (not in detail) and we have almost all the materials necessary for constructing our model, now all we need is to start building… (BTW, I'm team captain here too)

The third is our Geography project. Our Geog project is either on typhoons or flooding, their cause and effects. Our team (I'm not captain! I can rest…) chose the topic on typhoons. Haven't been doing much lately, though the project is due 3/1, that's the first day of our first term exams.

Added with the recital (update on Wed/Thu), I've been leading a busy life lately. Please don't blame me for no podcast updates, I'll get one out ASAP. Thanks for waiting.

Ocean Park pt2

We had a really fun time at Ocean Park on Thursday. My friend Eric and I went around Ocean Park together (we're not gay) and we got to see some exhibits and he went on a lot of rides, I only went on two the Ferris Wheel and the Mine Train. The Ferris Wheel wasn't very tall, but it was a bit scary… The Mine Train is the only exhilarating ride I went on this time. It is a roller coaster, no loops, but still fun. BTW, this is the only time I have been to Ocean Park without riding Raging River, which is one of those rides where your boat suddenly drops. It's a shame. Oh well, I don't regret any decisions I make.

Ocean Park

Today is the day of our class picnic. Guess where the Form 2 student are going? OCEAN PARK!
Ocean Park is a theme park whose theme is - you guessed it - the Ocean. It has been quite a long time since I've been to Ocean Park. Since then, Ocean Park has gone under some renovation, and for some reason, it feels like there is not much hype surrounding this even. Anyway, I plan to take pictures, maybe go on the rides and well, I'll do whatever comes to mind.
